Hello!! Latest updates of my May performance is that there will be cash provided!! Woohoo!! I don't really know how much but at least it's better than none.. We decided to change one of the songs that we previously chose for N.e.G. The one that we change was Something by Girl's day to Alone by Sistar.. I'm not really proud to say this but when Jasmond taught us the choreo, I looked like a frog dancing.. Even Rickmond and Lionel whom were not even trying did it better than me.. So humiliating.. I can't do sexy..
On 10 Apr, Thurs. During practice, Rickmond suddenly asked us whether we want to join a dance filming as they were looking for "Extras" to dance at Universal Studio.. The filming days were on 11 Apr, Fri and 13 Apr, Sun from 6am-11pm depending on the speed of the filming.. It was a filming for a Malay movie called Warner or sth.. There was a $100 allowance so ofcause we accepted..Partly for money, partly for experience.
11 Apr, Fri.. That day i only slpt for less than 3 hrs cause i reached hm from dance practice at 12+ the previous night and i had to wake up at 3.45am the next day.. Damn tired.. At 4.30am, I took a cab from my hse then went over to Admiralty to pick up Jasmond, then followed by going Hougang area to pick up Rowan before heading down to Sentosa.. Lionel overslpt so we went off without him.. When we reached Sentosa at 5.35am, it cost around $46.. That day was the first time that i went Sentosa so early in the morning.. It was really cool.. The atmosphere is really different as compared to when there's tourist around..
At around 6+, the official brought us into Universal studio.. Argh! That was the 2nd time i went to USS and the first time before it officially open and furthermore is to film there!! It was really really very cool.. I can't discribe the feelings in words.. Breakfast was provided by the filming crew.. We had 2 different types of sandwiches, muffins and drinks.. Nothing fancy but just eating at USS makes it even better..
Firstly, the "extras" had to learn 4 sets of 8s before we did a trial run of both the main and the extras tgt.. It is something like high school musical.. There's singing and dancing.. It was fun but we have to retake the scene many tyms before it's a wrap.. Since USS have to open up to public around 10am so we went out to the entrance and continue acting.. This tym we have to act as tourist.. The five of us didn't know what to do so we ended up playing the game "Concentration" and the losers have to take photos with actual tourists. Everything ended at 12+ then we went to Vivo city for lunch at a Japanese restaurant before heading hm..
13 Apr, Sun.. That day we decided to change the route so Jasmond came to pick me up instead then we went hougang to pick Rowan and Lionel.. Breakfast was the same but that day we didn't need to dance.. We just have to act as tourist that day.. Our spot was at the Minion store so while playing tourist, we get to take photos with the Minions!.. The mascots only came out for awhile so after we did our role of walking here and there, we ditched the scene and ran over to take photos with the Minions as they were stationed at the front, while the filming is heading towards the back.. That day was even more tiring and boring as compared to Fri.. All we have to do was pretend to walk and take photos.. This was counted as the 1st scene so when the actresses turn the corner to the place that we danced on fri which is near the Transformer area, we have to dance freestyle and clap along to make it look more happening.. That day we end slightly later so when we went out, there were a long queue full of waiting customers.. I guess they were able to see what we were doing..
After that, We went to Vivo city to meet up with the producer to get our pay for the filming.. While waiting we ate McDonald ice-cream.. At around 12+ going to 1, we went to the foodcourt for lunch.. I didn't go for Hopstacles training that day.. I reached hm at 2+ then slpt for few hours before taking a cab to Saf yacht Club for Terrance BBQ party.. All these event always happened at a last min notice..
I have to take a cab to the pace as it is located at a isolated place..It was raining at that tym so first we just seat at a sheltered area while waiting for the rain to stop.. At around 6+ going 7pm, we start our BBQ party.. That place was where Terrence work as a chef so the chicken wing was already cooked for us.. Yay!! No burned/ uncooked chicken wing that day! =D.. The rest of the ingredient we need to grill it.. Not all is already cooked.. Terr's colleague also boiled eggs as it's a tradition to eat red eggs on our BD for the Chinese..
It has been months and even years since i last catch up with them.. It was really fun when we reminisce about our Sec school life..That night i drank a sip of Whiskey(damn disgusting) and White Wine( Not too bad) but i still prefer my first cocktail drink, which i forgot what.. Got to make new friends that day, ate plenty plenty of food and hm we went at 10+...That is all, BYE!! =D
