Hello!! =D..29 Oct, Tues.. That day for my elective module exploring classical music, there was a presentation on " my fav music".. As usual, i will fumble while speaking and i forgot like 40% of what i've rehearsed the previous night.. haiz.. There was dance training for N.E.G that night.. 31 Oct, Thurs.. Dance training that day was to do formation for the songs and they taught me how to dance to EXO's History.. I can't rmb what really happened so i shall skip..1 Nov, Fri.. There was dance training that night again cause Sun is our dance audition day.. Went through the steps then did full rehearsal for a few times.. We had to learn practice Teentop's rocking , cause we will be using that as one of our dance for the finals, if we got in..That night, Rickmond treat us Burgerking =D.. Actually, he promised them if they won 2nd place for the Teenage Magazine kpop battle he will treat so i was able to enjoy the free treat too..Lucky~~!! =D..
2 Nov, Sat.. Happy Deepavali day !! =D...Jasmond and i decided to go to Wan Er's hse to help her bake cupcakes cause she had to do 40 of it.. Jasmond and i were free that day and we want to learn how to bake cupcakes.. We meet Wan Er at the bus stop at 1pm, then we went NTUC to buy the necessory ingredient for a cupcake..Jasmond wanted to try chocolate cupcake so we bought hershey's chocolate.. Lionel and Rickmond decided to join us too cause they live nearby and they had nth to do at hm too.. Rickmond was so scared of the chocolate cupcake cause he watches his diet and he kept saying "this is so sinful" while helping to mix the batter.. We took turns to stir the batter cause it's really tiring.. Rickmond bought lunch for us so after doing around 4 batch of batter we went to eat in the living room..
After that was play time..hehe.. Everyone except Wan Er ditch the cupcake and do other stuff.. Rickmond, Jasmond and lionel played Mstar, some dance game online, and i played on the piano keyboard.. The sound was off so it was quite weird.. After awhile, Rickmond came out and asked me to teach him "A thousand Years".. Rickmond was unable to play with both hands so i played the left and he played the right.. It was abit challenging to follow him but overall it was fun.. We had a short meeting in the kitchen after that then hm we went around 6+.
3 Nov, Sun.. It was the DAY!!! Firstly, N.E.G meet at 10am @ Bishan, Toastbox for breakfast.. Next we went to the sky garden on the 2nd level of Junction 8 to do warm ups and rehearsal.. Mostly is to clean up our steps.. Around 1pm we walk over to the CC.. We did 1 more rehearsal in a circle before going to the studio for our audition.. There were a total of 6 ppl inside.. 3 judges and 3 CC staff, 1 record the dance, 1 help us play the song and the other just watch.. Everyone did mistake that day.. My hand was shaking rapidly so i was abit distracted by it..So embarrassing.. Our song had a problem in the middle so the person videoing our dance stopped recording cause she thought we will re-dance again but we still continued to dance so our video was cut by half..will show it next time.. The most important part is of-cause, WE GOT INTO THE FINAL!! =D..WooHOo!!
After the audition we stayed back at the CC to practice our rocking for awhile before going KFC for lunch.. Took a train to Bedok after eating for Hopstacles training cause that day Aaron came to teach us =D... Aaron taught us a choreo using OneRepublic "Counting star" ( click to watch the video)..It was really fun and fast !.. Aaron was treating me really specially that day, he kept saying i improved alot then while resting, he taught me popping and house.. It was really weird cause he suddenly raise up my hand and i was like " what? what are you doing".. Apparently, Wan Er told him about my enthusiasm for the competition, like what i've mentioned last week..It ended around 6 then NEG went to practice Rocking again.. Aaron was giving us advice and stuff so we were really grateful that he was there that day.. practice until 7pm, went to the prata store for dinner with Aaron, Huier, Zhineng, jing ting's brother and the usual ppl.. It was a very fun, extremely tiring, lots of ups and downs day.. That is all.. stay tune for our final's dance video =D
