11 Oct, Fri.. In the Evening, i went over to Scape, Orchard, to meet Wan Er they all.. There was a filming going on for the movie "Lionmen", which will be airing in the Cinema next year.. While waiting for all members to be present, Jasmond, Yen San, Lionel and i watched how they walk back and forth for a couple of times.. It was just the walking scene but they took sooo long to film it.. When everyone arrived, Rickmond went through the steps and i will supervise the whole thing.. As i had mentioned on my previous post, my job is to spot, give advice and see until the dance moves are alright.. Some moves were really good but other then that not really.. It was still very messy.. They practiced until 9+ or 10 then we went Burger King for dinner.. Chit chat, talk about the competition etc and despite the stress level and uncertainties, there will always be laughter... Went hm with Jasmond that day and that is all...
12 Oct, Sat.. That day we went to Joel's Condo to practice the dance.. Okay, they practice, i watch.. We were suppose to meet at 12pm that day so i meet Jasmond at Admiralty Busstop and we took bus 969 to Tampines first.. Meet Lionel, Waner and Rickmond there, bought our breakfast then took bus 4 to Joel's hse.. We sat at the pool area to eat our breakfast first.. Cher Hui and Yen San was late..So while waiting, the guys tried to put on their wigs.. Lionel went to collect the Wigs from his friend that morning so it was extremely hilarious when they put on the wigs..Every one laughed soo hard...After trying diff wigs, the final results is as shown above.. At 1+, Joel brought us to the gym area and at one corner, there are mirrors and quite an appropriate space for them to dance.. The air-con was really comfortable too...YS and CH arrived at 2pm and they officially start their practice..
YS and CH didn't really do that well that day so Rickmond was sort of scolding them..Their steps were wrong and they dance like dead fish..No energy at all and the competition is the next day only.. So Rickmond was quite pissed cause they had been practicing almost the whole week...Ofcause everyone made mistake so i was there for a reason..I was quite annoyed at first cause they are the one that wanted to join the compe in the first place so why are they giving up so easily just because of few mistake and stuff..Then i have to be like " Have more confidence in yourself" "You were doing great so far" etc..
After the motivation talk from both Rick and i, everyone did so much better but there was still mistakes.. They danced until 7+ going to 8 then off we went to Joel's hse for dinner..There were pastas and mushroom soup for dinner.. Joel's parent homemade beverage recipe is Carlsberg with apple? orange? i forgot but it was the first time i drank Carlsberg and it was pretty good..He have a dog called "Lucky", Rickmond and Jasmond are scared of dogs..Rickmond's expression was epic when the dog came near him.. Everyone had a laughing fit everytime he made weird faces or shout.. Talked, laugh, play with the dog until 9+ or 10 then Joel drove us all to Tampines Mrt.. He purposely hit the break twice! while driving and i nearly had a heart attack...
13 Oct, Sun.. I was supposed to be at Scape around 2 to see Wan Er they all do a final practice.. I was having bad hair day so i spent an hour just tying up my hair into a side french braid.. I met them at Somerset Mrt station cause the Kpop battle venue was at Bugis +..It starts at 6.30pm so first we went foodcourt for lunch then went over to bugis + level 7 to do make up, hair and etc.. Wan Er asked me to tie a classic french braid for her so i did.. Cher hui did her own hair and she had braids too so i also tied Yen San's hair the same as Wan Er.. They just wanted it to be neat but somehow it became a theme or sth.. When Cher hui was doing the makeup individually, Wan Er and Jasmond were discussing and wondering how the hair spray wil look like so i asked them to test it out on my hair since i'm not performing so if it's ugly also won't affect me.. My role for this event was a Nanny, Adviser, Counselor, Hairstylist, Guinea pig, Caretaker and their Number 1 fan..lolx.. There were 2 moves that they always can't synchronize so they did 2 full rehearsal and i help to watch and give advice again before the competition.. Cher Hui still get the moves wrongly... Around 6.25pm, we went down and the competition for the rookie category had already started and the guys still haven't put on their wigs so it was abit of a rush..
They were the first group to perform so everyone was quite excited cause they wanted to set a standard or sth.. Ow and none of the photos is taken by me.. I took it from Facebook mostly is from Elizabeth, our own photographer and some is from Wan er and Rickmond FB... =P
Sneak preview of their performance.. Everyone did mistakes here and there but Cher hui did the most mistakes.. Even the one that Wan Er and I reminded her before the competition.. Despite that, everyone did their best so no harm done..

After all the groups had finished performing, There were 2 mini games while waiting for the results to be out..Aaron and Hui Er were one of the contestants..
First, they pronounce the winners for the rookie category then followed by the open-group top 5 winners.. Starting from 4th Runner up = H-Limit
3rd Runner up = UNIVIBE
2nd Runner up = 4-ERO
1st Runner up = * Drum row* * Drum row* N.e.G!!! They got 2nd place!! When the MC said their name i started to shout and kept jumping.. ARGH~~!!! Omg!! Soo happy for them.. I nearly cried too which is ridiculous, i'm not the one that danced.
Champion = GNO (Girls Night Out)

The Winner had to do an encore dance and it was really very nice.. Ofcause we had to take photo with our winners too... Most of the Hopstacles member came to support them.. There were free Swensen's Ice-cream too =D..hehehe..
2 guys came over and asked for their autograph.. Jasmond, lionel, Elizebeth and i were laughing.. It was their first autograph!! hahahas... They have fans now, but ofcause, i'm still their number 1 fan.. hehe.. After that, Aaron drove Hui Er, Ying hong and i to Bugis Junction first cause car need to do a de-tour to get there so we meet Jasmond, Yen San and Wan Er at Bugis Junction and went Pastamania for dinner.. Aaron just bought the car so i'm the first Hopstacle member to ride it =D.. I saw Yi Liang, my Poly school mate at pastamania and we chatted for awhile.. She went to watch the Kpop competition..4-ERO was from Ngee Ann Poly NRA, whom are Yi Liang's friend cause she's a dancer too.. After dinner, i took a train with Jasmond and that is all.. Next couple of months there will be performances waiting for us so stay tune to find out more.. Bye =D
