25 Aug, Sun.. We meet each other 8.30am at Bayfront MRT station cause Aaron said we had to be at Garden by the bay by 9am.. Everyone was really dressed up just for the photoshoot.. The pics will be in the People's Association magazine and the theme was " Bigger and Better".. In order to achieve tat theme, our dress code is hip hop and colorful. We sat at one of the pavilion while waiting for Aaron and Hui er.. I guess the actual time to meet the photographers was 10+ going 11 but Aaron scared we will be late so he suggested 9 am, but the rest of us thought tat we meet earlier is safer or else Aaron will get angry so end up, we wasted our time by going there too early ~.~...There were about 10 photographers that day.. Aaron split us into groups and was asked to choreo 4 sets of 8 within 15mins so the photographers can take us when we are dancing..
The starting of the photoshoot, different groups went different spot to take the photos.. We had a self portrait shoot too.. I didn't really know how to strike a pose so i did a baby freeze and the rest of the photos was group photos.. Aaron suggested to do a dance battle while we wait for one more group group to finish.. It was weird and interesting to dance there..It's like free publicity for our dance troupe..lols.. Ended the photoshoot at 2 pm then took a train to Dhoby ghuat for lunch... The photos will be ready one month later..Will upload it once it's out..
After eating lunch at Just Acia, those that were performing for the post NDD took a bus to Whampo CC.. We didn't know the timing for the performance so when we got there it was 4pm then the person was like "Why you all come so early?".. He prepared a room for us to rest, it was a art classroom with a piano.. While waiting, the piano was too tempting to not play it so i played a thousand years, then everyone went quiet to listen to it.. Once, they even sang along while i played it.. At 5.30pm, we had a dance rehearsal for a short-while then went back to the air-condition room.. We bought food back to the room to eat as our performance start at 9pm..Most of the time, we were playing the piano or thinking of songs for a Kpop competition in Sep.. I'm not joining cause i'm working.. Almost all the boys asked me to teach them to play the piano.. I taught Elizebeth, Jasmond and honghoe the front part of "A thousand years", Rickmond wanted to learn too but not enough space. I taught Lionel the front part of D.gray Man ( Jap Anime) "Musician".. Omg, i can seduce boys with my charm.. hehe..
At 8.45pm, we went to the backstage as one of the person incharge asked us to be there at that timing.. But when we reach there another guy asked us why we come so early and asked us to come back 15mins later..lolx.. The management sux big time.. We went to seat at the Basketball court, Rickmond and Honghoe played Bball match with two young boy, after it ended the rest including me went to shoot bball until it's our turn to perform.. We were quite scared the stage will tumble down while dancing cause it was making lots of noises as we were jumping and stomping..Mostly it was fun and enjoyable..Joel kept screaming in high-pitch in the effort of making the crowd hyper which made us laughed all the way while dancing..After tat, some of us took a bus to Toa payoh mrt station.. Lionel wanted to continue playing the piano so i asked him to download the app, so i continued to teach him on the bus.. That day was a VERY exhausting day, lots of laughter, had lots of fun.. I love my dance friends, they are beyond awesome.. That is all.. will be working most of the days tis week(26/8) and on Sun Aaron will be teaching us a new choreo.... so stay tune!! =D..
